  PASSAGE OF THE GANJA | LA
   
  Itinerary
 
1st &2nd Day:  Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel.
3rd Day:  Visit Pasupathinath, Boudhanath & Syambunath. Evening briefing about trek.
4th Day:  Departure for Dhunche by bus.
5th &8th Day:  Dhunche / Kyangjin Gompa. Dhunche is the entry to Syabru, a very pretty village with very beautiful sights of Ganesh Himal. Beauty rises through the forest to join the lower part of one of the principal glaciers of Kyangchee.
9th Day:  Kyangchee. Day of recovery. Climbing is possible to the top of Yala (5500m) and Naya Kanga (5846m).
10th&13th Day:

Kyangchee / Tarke Gyang (2560m). Before the final climbing to pass through forest of rhododendrons and juniper tree, the track keeps the direction of the South to go up abruptly towards the collar Ganja-La .It (5200m) has a splendid sight in North on Langtang Lirung and the misty top of Tibet. The descent climb is stiff, which is one of the pass most abrupt of Nepal. Walk down towards Duku and Tarkhegyang, large Sherpa Village.

14th&15th Day: Tarkhegyang / Talamarang. Descent to Melamche Khola and join Talamaran,at the end of the trek.
16th Day:  Return to Kathmandu by bus.
17th Day:  Free day in Kathmandu
18th Day:  Visit to the surrounding cities of Kathmandu.
19th Day:  Return back
