JUMLA WITH THE LAKE RARA |
|
|
In the West of Nepal is Jumla, 9
days of loop walk to join the park of Rara that is the largest
lake at the altitude of Nepal. This trek offers spectacular
panoramas covered with snow mounts, Forests of fir tree and
rhododendrons (national flower of Nepal) |

Flight to Kathmandu
and transfer to the hotel. |
| 3rd Day |
Visit Pasupathinath,
Boudhanath & Symabunath. Evening briefing about trek. |
| 4th & 5th Day |
Departure from
Kathmandu / Nepalgunj / Jumla. |
| 6th & 9th Day |
Jumla / Lake Rara
(3062m). In the direction of Danphe Langa, the way descends
in soft slope length of river, after a flat truncheon, the
path goes down in Zigzag direction towards Sinja Khola and
crosses the villages of Bumra, Kabra, Bhara to join Chautha
with (2940m), then climb towards Bhulbule to enter the
national park of lake Rara. Passage of Ghurchi Langa, climb
up to Mugu Karnali and it is at top of the border of Tibet.

| 10th Day |
Day of rest in this
extremely wild and moved back area. |
| 11th&14th Day |
Rara Lake / Jumla. The rise
softens somewhat in forests and the track crosses meadows
before reaching a peak (3710m). Cross Chatta Khola, then
walk down to Sinja Khola. (Sinja was the capital of the
Malla Kingdom) of the West. |

Jumla / Nepalgunj /
Kathmandu by flight. |

Free day in Kathmandu and
visit the surrounding cities. |
| 17th Day |
Visit Kathmandu. |
| 18th Day |
Return back. |
