Nepal is a country of highly diverse and rich geography, culture and religion.The mountainous north has eight of the world’s ten highest mountains,including the world’s highest Sagarmatha, known Sherpa Language "Chamulungma and in English as MT. EVEREST, rising with the top of populated valleys and forest plains where lives the tiger and the rhinoceros.It contains around 240 peaks more than 20,000ft(6096 metres) above sea level. The fertile and humid south is heavily urbanized. Enchantment is everywhere, on the buttresses of the mountains, the field terraces going up in staircase towards the sky, on the calm rivers with the course precocity, in the forests full of wildlife,flowers and songs of birds.At Kathmandu, the capital, or in the neighborhoods, the sanctuaries, temples, palace and the places which surround them, old sculptures, but also the legends hidden in chief-of oeuvre gilded, silver plated or of brick, make valley of Kathmandu an alive museum.



Tibet is situated between the two ancient civilizations of China and India,separated from the former by the mountain ranges to the east of the Tibetan plateau and from the latter by the towering Himalayas.Tibet is nick-named "the roof of the world" or "the land of the snow". The largest natural region in Tibet is the Northern plateau or Chang Tang, which covers about half of Tibets total surface area and is delineated in the west by the great Karakoram range,in the north by the wall of the Astin Tagh and in the northeast by the Nan Shan range.The Outer Plateau is a narrow strip with the Himalayas forming the southern boundary. It is the most populous part of Tibet.
